Mei Shirakawa

Mei reviews the tools people use to download and record streaming video, and flags the ones that cut corners on safety. Her work started with Japanese video platforms and now covers recorders and downloaders across markets, including what to do when a recording comes back as a black screen. Her reviews appear in every language edition of BBFly, and she installs and runs every tool she reviews on Windows, macOS and mobile before writing it up. She enjoys taking tools apart in detail and writes up what works and what doesn't, without talking any of them up.
